Design and Art Direction for the City Of God re-release campaign.


 

21 years since its captivating debut, the gripping story of life on the mean streets of Rio returned to the big screen through a partnership between The Festival Agency & AllCity.

To commemorate the anniversary re-release of City Of God, AllCity crafted a comprehensive campaign featuring new Key Art, strategic publicity initiatives, and a series of engaging events. As part of the celebration, we partnered with charities, offering exclusive limited edition skateboards, and unveiling unique apparel.

 

 

Key Art

Created using a mix of stills and illustration, the Key Art was designed to be localised on demand and crafted to appeal to a new younger audience.

 

 

AllCity X x Clown Skateboards

In our commitment to maximising audience engagement, we created limited edition, localised promotional materials tailored for specific territories, to further expand and enhance the film's reach.

As part of a collaboration with Clown Skateboards' founders, I designed and illustrated a skate capsule that embodies the film's essence while supporting its portrayed communities. Proceeds from this collection will be administered through In Action CIC with Damian Platt MBE.
